NURTURING THE ARTIST YOU WANT TO BE…AND THE PERSON YOU ARE
Design Your Career (DYC) builds a community for creatives who are exploring the entertainment industry.
Through weekly group classes and one-on-one mentorship, we support you with understanding the business side of the entertainment industry.
By investing one day a week for one term with a group of likeminded creatives you will;
Produce a portfolio video for submissions and auditions
Shoot an updated headshot
Produce and shoot a marketing video that shows off your unique creative voice
Learn how to manage your finances as a creative business
Take class with industry professionals who are actually doing the jobs you want to do right now!
Create and perform in an ‘End of Program’ showcase and receive high quality show footage to add to your portfolio
We pride ourselves on taking time to know YOUR career goals and help set you up for success.
It is exciting to see DYC alumni strengthening the entertainment industry by bringing knowledge and understanding of dance and performance to;
Drag
Circus
Burlesque

PROGRAM DIRECTOR
I am beyond excited to provide continued training to creatives and performing artists who are building their career in the Entertainment Industry.
It is my goal to instil each person who participates in my program with the confidence, resources and mindset that is required of a successful and, (arguably more importantly), happy artist.
The Design Your Career program has been created to nuture the artist you want to become and the person you are.
We take a holistic look at the lifestyle you wish to lead and how that lives in harmony with the career you are working to achieve.
It is my hope that this program provides you with not only career guidance, but also a sense of community and support that will extend beyond the time we spend together inside the program.
